    • About Info Which No One Ever Reads

I’m a college student majoring in Computer Science attending the University of Idaho. I started out as an english major, but switched after the first semester as, while I love english, the only type of writing I really enjoy is fiction. Currently I’m learning C++, data structures, and other fun such things. I took Visual Basic during my first semester and I’m considering taking Java (If for nothing else than to make a cell phone game that doesn’t suck). Where I go as far as specialization goes really depends on what looks like it would serve me best in the future. From what I hear, it’s more how many you know, than being particularly specialized in a single language so.. I’m keeping that somewhat in mind.

As one may have noticed after a short read, or at least just having read the title, I’m a socialist. More specifically, I’m a marxist, but socialist made a better title, and I don’t believe that the word “Communist” can actually be used to refer to a single individual who lives in a non-communist world.

I greatly enjoy games, of almost all varieties. I largely play MMORPGs, having played nearly all of the free ones on the market, and a few of the big pay-per-month ones. I love my consoles to death, however, not having the money for any next-gen consoles at the moment, I stick mostly to my nes, snes, and PS2. I also have a DS, although I haven’t got much as far as games for it.

I do pen & paper gaming as well, having played in a D20 campaign, and a Darwin campaign. Although I am quite familiar with the D&D 3.5 rules, I’m yet to actually play in a real campaign. I did however DM a short single mission campaign for a friend.

Currently I’m involved in a campaign which is beta testing a system which a friend of mine is making. Whenever it gets to the point where things can be revealed about it, I’ll no doubt be posting.

I also host a radio show every Saturday from 7-9 pm on 92.5 KRFP Radio Free Moscow. I used to have it at 2-4 and held that slot for over two years, but my co-host decided she wanted a more open Saturday availability for work, so we moved the slot to the evening when the Autumn ‘07 schedule started.

It’s a local radio station, so unless you’re in Moscow, Idaho, you can’t really pick it up on your stereo, however, if you feel like listening in over the interwebz, they have a cast on their website.
